Reading the following short story "The Storm" i was able to identify the controlling idea and summarize the main idea."The Strom"is a short story that emphaszes on the main characters and they actoins .The author clearly points out in some situations that the characters and they aactoins.The author clearly points out in some situations that the characters was involved in Betrayal,Emoutions and danger.My first alert was that there was going to be terrified storm,which was about to emerge.Bonito's and his son bibi was at the store and continues to remain there until the storm passes bye.While calixta invites alcee into her home and worries about her husband and son out in this storm ,mean while alcee is wondering and reminisces on what they once felt about one another. Reading and understanding what was going on the author clearly pionts out that these two was deeply in to one another and was having an affair.Bieng that Alcee was a longtime friend the husband was to never think that there was a sexually attention between them both .
They begaing to have sexually encounter with one another until the storms stops and when the husband and farther appered they pretended that everything was okand nothing was going on between them two.The narrator emphasizes and describes Calixta as a worry wife but in long run she transform into something diffrent and become a figure that change over time. There was so much sexual attention between them, that he begain to fantasisies and lye about what was going on becuase he wanted everything to be fine.The author pionted out that the wife had no idea about what was going on.
I have concluded This terrible storm emerges into sexual betryal which symbolizes that they was both happy that they was having affairs and at the end of the stroy its seems that once the storm passes everyone was happy becuase when the wife and son came home both Calixta and Alcee pretended everythingwas fine.
This short story was interested to me becuase the author expressed a strong tone on how something can carry out even if something terrified happens.The story pionts out how important a negetive impact can have on a family and day ,it expresses that the feeling and emoutions was sad .
